Tien Phong Newspaper won the Central Youth Union's friendly football tournament

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the Central Youth Union's friendly football tournament between union members of departments and units under the Central Youth Union took place with the participation of football teams such as Thanh Nien Newspaper, Tien Phong Newspaper, Thieu Nien Tien Phong & Nhi Dong Newspaper in association with the Central Youth Union Office and the Vietnam Youth Academy.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the tournament, Ms. Le Hong Hanh - Chairman of the Central Youth Union, Head of the Organizing Committee - said that following previous seasons, the 2025 football tournament aims to create a useful playground, contributing to promoting the movement of physical exercise and sports , enhancing exchanges between cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in the Central Youth Union.

"The organizing committee hopes that the athletes participating in the tournament will compete enthusiastically, determined to achieve the highest results, affirming their true abilities in solidarity, health and safety. The referee team will work enthusiastically, strictly, legally and fairly," Ms. Le Hong Hanh shared.

The matches were exciting in the spirit of healthy competition and fair-play. The matches were dramatic with unpredictable scenarios until the last minutes.

In the end, Tien Phong Newspaper won first prize in the 2025 Central Youth Union friendly football tournament.
