Barca raced to the finish line in La Liga.

Despite being almost certain to be relegated, Valladolid still played with determination, especially when facing a Barcelona team that rotated its squad.

Just 6 minutes after the match started, Ivan Sánchez took advantage of a lack of concentration in Barca's defense to shoot, the ball hit Ronald Araujo's foot and changed direction, making it impossible for Marc-Andre ter Stegen to block.

The early goal left Barcelona in a quandary. The visitors struggled for an equaliser in the remainder of the first half but were met with a resolute home defence.

Ansu Fati, Fermin Lopez and Dani Rodriguez all had chances, but were either blocked or had their shots off. Most regrettably, a shoulder injury forced Rodriguez to leave the field before half-time.

Barcelona increased the pressure in the second half when Hansi Flick brought on Raphinha and Frenkie de Jong. It was Raphinha who equalized with a precise shot into the bottom corner after catching the rebound from goalkeeper Ferreira's punch in the 54th minute. In the 60th minute, Fermin Lopez completed the comeback with a powerful one-touch finish after a pass from Gerard Martin.

In the final minutes, Barca almost increased the score when Hector Fort hit the post, and Lamine Yamal also had his shot blocked on the goal line by Antonio Candela. However, the minimal victory was enough for Barcelona to get three valuable points, extending their winning streak in La Liga to 4 matches.

With this result, Barcelona maintains a gap of at least 4 points with Real Madrid before entering the decisive El Clasico match next week. In contrast, Valladolid continues to sink deeper into crisis with its 8th consecutive defeat.
