On March 9, the Criminal Police Department, Hue City Police announced that it had arrested a group of people who had extorted property from passersby.
The arrested subjects include Nguyen Nhat Le Tuan, Ngo Anh Tu, Nguyen Van Tinh (all born in 2008), Ho Van Lam, Ho Van Long (all born in 2009) and Nguyen Minh Khang (born in 2007), all residing in Hue city.

According to the police, at 9:00 p.m. on March 7, the above group of subjects invited each other to find passersby to extort property.
In front of house number 37 on Huyen Tran Cong Chua street, Thuy Bieu ward, Thuan Hoa district, the subjects discovered HP (born 2012, residing in Thuy Bang ward, Thuan Hoa district) walking alone, so the whole group rushed out to stop him, threatened him and extorted 60,000 VND.
The group took this money to buy gas and spend.
At the police station, the subjects confessed to having committed many other cases of property extortion in Thuy Bieu and Truong An wards of Thuan Hoa district.
The Criminal Police Department, Hue City Police, has detained 5 suspects and continues to consolidate records and handle them according to the law.
