Criminal detention of Tuyet Chinh dental clinic owner

(Chinhphu.vn) - The Ho Chi Minh City Police Department has issued an emergency arrest warrant for Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Chinh (born in 1985, owner of Tuyet Chinh Dental Clinic) to investigate the act of disturbing public order.

Previously, on September 3, 2025, Hanh Thong Ward Police received a report from Ms. NTTT about being assaulted at Tuyet Chinh Dental Clinic, located at 49 Tran Thi Nghi, Hanh Thong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

Initial investigation results show that: Ms. NTTT is a customer using the services of Tuyet Chinh Dental Clinic. There was a conflict between Ms. Chinh and Ms. T related to the service that Ms. T used. On September 3, 2025, when Ms. T and a friend came to the dental clinic to request a resolution, the two sides argued. Ms. Chinh used an iron rod to threaten, beat, snatch the phone and damage Ms. T's property. Despite being stopped by her husband and security, Ms. Chinh's behavior continued, causing insecurity and disorder at the facility.

Based on the collected evidence, on September 10, 2025, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department issued an Emergency Detention Order and an Emergency Arrest Order, and at the same time issued a decision to temporarily detain Nguyen Thi Tuyet Chinh for investigation of the crime of disturbing public order. The above orders and decisions were approved by the City People's Procuracy.

Ho Chi Minh City police will continue to investigate and strictly handle the case in accordance with the law.

Previously, on September 8, the inspection team of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health coordinated with the People's Committee of Hanh Thong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City to inspect the operation of Tuyet Chinh Dental Clinic at 49 Tran Thi Nghi, Hanh Thong Ward, where a scuffle between a customer and the owner of the facility had just occurred, causing public outrage.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, the inspection team recorded many violations at the clinic, specifically: Not ensuring one of the conditions on physical facilities after being granted a license to operate medical examination and treatment; providing medical examination and treatment services beyond the scope of expertise stated in the license to operate medical examination and treatment; not making records and medical records according to the form prescribed by law; advertising medical examination and treatment services that are not in accordance with the scope of expertise stated in the license to operate medical examination and treatment. In addition, at the time of inspection, the team recorded 3 employees practicing medical examination and treatment at the clinic but had not provided a license to practice medical examination and treatment.
