According to the announcement from Nam Dinh Green Steel, to operate effectively, some positions are rearranged. Accordingly, Mr. Vu Hong Viet will take on the position of General Director of the company and Executive Director of the Club and Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien will be the Technical Director.

As the company's General Director and Executive Director, Mr. Vu Hong Viet has handed over the decision to appoint Head Coach to Mr. Mauro Jeronimo, a Portuguese coach born in 1987. Coach Jeronimo is not a strange name to Vietnamese football. He used to work at the PVF Youth Football Training Center, then became the Head Coach of PVF - CAND Club in 2022.

Coach Jeronimo impressed when discovering and nurturing talents such as Thanh Nhan, Hieu Minh and Xuan Bac, who are playing for U22 Vietnam. He parted ways with PVF - CAND in the spring of 2025 after 6 years of association. Not long ago, he was said to be in charge of the youth training system of The Cong Viettel Club.

With Nam Dinh Green Steel, Coach Jeronimo is expected to build an identity and help the Southern team go far in all competitions when meeting the players at Thien Truong Stadium. Currently, Nam Dinh Green Steel has fallen to 10th place on the LPBank V.League 2025/26 rankings with 10 points after 10 matches, 17 points behind the top team Ninh Binh FC. In the AFC Champions League Two, they ranked second in Group F after Gamba Osaka, while ranked third in Group B of the ASEAN Club Championship.
