Arresting a 'super thief' who specializes in stealing property at committee headquarters

On April 10, information from Thai Binh Provincial Police said that the unit had arrested Le Thanh Loc (44 years old, residing in Hoai Xuan Ward, Hoai Nhon Town, Binh Dinh Province) and Nguyen Van Thanh (47 years old, residing in Phu Phong Town, Tay Son District, Binh Dinh Province) to clarify the act of property theft.

According to records, at around 12 noon on April 7, thieves broke into the headquarters of the People's Committee of Thai Binh City to steal property.

Immediately after receiving the report, Thai Binh Provincial Police directed the professional departments to coordinate with Thai Binh City Police to urgently arrest the subject. After 2 days of investigation, the police force arrested Le Thanh Loc and Nguyen Van Thanh.

At the time of arrest, Loc and Thanh were hiding in Cam Giang District ( Hai Duong Province). Through the investigation, the subjects initially confessed that they had previously broken into and committed many thefts at the People's Committee headquarters of several provinces and cities using similar methods.

It is known that Loc has 2 previous convictions, Thanh has 3 previous convictions, all for theft of property.

Authorities are continuing to investigate to determine the amount of property the two subjects stole from the People's Committee headquarters.
