Detained a subject who tricked people into working abroad to appropriate more than 10 billion VND

(HGO) - The Investigation Police Agency of Hau Giang Province Police has just issued a decision to prosecute and execute an order to temporarily detain Le Thi Chuc Phuong, a Korean national, to investigate the crime of fraud and property appropriation.

The Investigation Police Agency of Hau Giang Provincial Policeexecuted the order to temporarily detain Le Thi Chuc Phuong.

According to the investigation results, Le Thi Chuc Phuong was born and raised in Tran Van Thoi district, Ca Mau province. After that, Phuong followed her husband to Korea to live by farming and job brokerage. Recently, Phuong often returned to Vietnam and often visited Hau Giang province. Through her relationship, Phuong instructed some subjects on how to consult, receive documents and receive money from people who needed seasonal labor in Korea with a salary of 40 to 50 million VND per month. In which, Phuong collected the lowest total cost for each case of 35 million VND.

However, after receiving the workers' money and documents, Le Thi Chuc Phuong did not keep her promise but instead cited many fees to ask them to pay tens of millions of dong more. Many people were upset and denounced Phuong.

Initially, the Investigation Police Agency of Hau Giang Province Police worked with 111 cases and these people had more than 10.5 billion VND appropriated by Phuong, of which some people transferred more than 1.4 billion VND to the subject.
