Building data for smart tourism map in Bac Lieu

On the afternoon of May 16, a working group from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism coordinated with the Bac Lieu Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to build smart tourism map data at Bac Lieu's tourist attractions including: Southern amateur music and musician Cao Van Lau Memorial Site, Xiem Can Pagoda, Hoa Binh 1 Wind Power Tourist Area, Quan Am Phat Dai Area and Bac Lieu Prince's House Area.

At tourist destinations, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism digitizes image data using specialized equipment. This data will be uploaded to a virtual reality environment at a rate of 100% and fully integrated with information forms introducing the destination such as: audio, text, VR clips... to help visitors have a multi-dimensional, unique view of tourist destinations.

This is an activity to concretize the cooperation program for tourism development between Ho Chi Minh City and 13 provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta; gradually perfecting the 3D/360 smart interactive tourism map application connecting tourist destinations of 63 provinces and cities across the country. The application will be displayed in 5 languages: Vietnamese, English, French, Chinese and Spanish.
