In recent years, the people of Bat Xat district have increasingly planted arrowroot because it is suitable for the climate and soil conditions, giving high productivity, from 25 - 30 tons/ha. With the current selling price of about 2,500 VND - 3,000 VND/kg of fresh tubers, it brings in an income of 62.5 to 75 million VND/ha for growers.

In particular, in 2025, the planting area will increase sharply due to the previous harvest, when the cassava tubers had a good harvest and good prices. In addition to the cooperatives in the district, many traders and cooperatives outside the locality have signed purchase contracts, creating a stable output for this tuber.
