
According to Sputnik, former US President and now Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump pledged to resolve the conflict in Ukraine through negotiations, while blaming incumbent leader Joe Biden for not contacting Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“I will solve this problem through negotiations,” Trump pledged during a town hall meeting in Pennsylvania.
He added that he had good relations with both the Russian and Ukrainian leaders, and asserted that under his leadership, conflict between Russia and Ukraine “would never happen.”
In addition, Mr. Trump also criticized Mr. Biden for not contacting Russian President Vladimir Putin for a long time.
“Biden has done nothing to resolve this conflict. He hasn’t even spoken to Putin in over a year,” he said.
