Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Council of Theory, Head of the Steering Committee of the contest attended and delivered the closing speech.

Reporting on the contest's summary, comrade Hoang Phuc Lam, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, said that after 2 days of scientific and effective work, 50 contestants who are lecturers from units in the academy's system participated in the contest in 27 majors in 7 sub-committees with 2 contents: lesson plan contest and lecture contest.

With their best efforts, 50 contestants participating in the contest demonstrated their capacity and professional knowledge in each lesson, as well as their positivity and initiative in applying innovative teaching methods at the contest.

In the lesson plan contest, the candidates prepared lesson plans carefully, seriously, according to the program framework, close to the syllabus and structure of the lecture, and identified and selected appropriate teaching methods.

Notably, the knowledge content in the lesson plan and the knowledge content in the scientific teaching exam are suitable for the audience, easy to understand and apply. In the lectures, there are many connections and applications of theoretical knowledge into practice. The lecturers all use active, modern, calm teaching methods and exemplary manners.

Based on the results of the competition, the Organizing Committee decided to award certificates of merit and recognized 20 individuals with the title of "Excellent Lecturer" at the Academy level for the 6th time; and recognized 30 individuals with the title of "Excellent Lecturer" at the Academy level for the 6th time.

In his closing speech, comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang congratulated the 50 contestants and affirmed that they were outstanding lecturers among more than 1,400 lecturers in the entire academy system. Being selected to participate in the contest was not only an honor for the contestants but also a source of pride for the units in the academy.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang believes that, from the results of the contest, when returning to their professional teaching work at their units, the lecturers will continue to contribute more, with enthusiasm, intelligence, and passion in each lesson and lecture, helping to create and contribute to improving the quality of training, fostering and scientific research at the academy, helping the academy to increasingly affirm the prestige and brand of the Party School named after Uncle Ho.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang suggested that lecturers and contestants participating in the contest continue to proactively promote self-study and research to improve their knowledge and professional expertise, cultivate modern teaching methods, continue to impart knowledge, inspiration for learning, creative research and application of theory to practice for generations of students, especially knowledge to apply in the leadership and management process, contributing to the development of agencies, units and localities.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang suggested that the Organizing Committee of the contest, the academy's leaders, and affiliated units focus on building, training, and developing the unit's young lecturers to meet the requirements of the tasks in the coming period, contributing to consolidating the position, prestige, and influence of the academy nationwide in general; continue to innovate methods and ways of organization suitable to the actual situation of the academy to organize the contest for excellent lecturers at all levels in a simple, high-quality, and most effective way.
