Hojlund is of interest to many clubs. |
According to the Daily Mail , Fulham are considering the possibility of recruiting Rasmus Hojlund amid the uncertainty of Rodrigo Muniz's future. Muniz is a transfer target of Atalanta and if they lose this striker, the London club will need to quickly find a replacement.
To progress further, Fulham need to establish whether Hojlund is willing to move to Craven Cottage before making a formal offer. The 22-year-old still believes he can contribute to Ruben Amorim's squad and is ready to compete even if Sesko is guaranteed a starting place.
However, Manchester United's board are said to want to sell Hojlund. Since joining from Atalanta, he has failed to meet expectations in terms of scoring performance, forcing the team to look for a more effective solution. Selling Hojlund would help MU have more budget to add a midfielder, or even a goalkeeper, in the summer transfer window.
Before Fulham, AC Milan entered into negotiations with Manchester United about Hojlund, offering a one-season loan for £4.5 million, with a £39 million option to buy, but the "Red Devils" have not agreed.
MU's summer transfer window is still quite active. Chelsea are expected to submit a £50 million offer for Alejandro Garnacho, while Real Betis are still monitoring Antony. Jadon Sancho is also of interest to Roma and is ready to buy for €20 million. Young midfielder Toby Collyer is preparing to join West Brom on a season-long loan.
