On the afternoon of May 16, An Giang Eye - Ear, Nose and Throat - Maxillofacial Hospital organized an assessment of the implementation of electronic medical records, to decide on the use and storage of electronic medical records to replace paper medical records, storage and transmission of medical images instead of printing films, and storage of test information instead of printing paper.

The hospital has proactively applied smart hospital management software systems, electronic medical records systems in management and operation; implementing EMR electronic medical records in medical examination and treatment. In particular, reviewing and investing in infrastructure and information technology equipment; deploying digital signatures, electronic signatures; exploiting electronic medical records; VNPT LIS automatic test result management system; VNPT RIS/PACS medical image management system; HIS hospital management information system; cashless hospital fee payment by QR code...

Concluding the appraisal session, Dr. Doan Thanh Hung congratulated and highly appreciated the efforts of An Giang Eye - Ear - Nose - Throat - Maxillofacial Hospital in implementing Electronic Medical Records, to move towards recognition of completely replacing paper medical records according to the roadmap, smart medical management, improving the quality of service to the people. At the same time, he requested that the Hospital Board of Directors deploy smooth practice operations throughout the hospital to achieve good results, complete the records to submit to competent authorities for approval.
