While fishing for seafood in the sea 32 nautical miles south of Truong Sa Island, Mr. Tran Hoai Sang, 37 years old, Ward 6, Tuy Hoa City, Phu Yen Province, felt tired, coughed, had difficulty breathing and was promptly treated.
On November 18, Truong Sa Island Infirmary, Brigade 146, Naval Region 4 received and treated a fisherman from Phu Yen province.
Previously, at around 10:00 a.m. on November 16, while fishing for seafood in the sea 32 nautical miles south of Truong Sa Island, Mr. Tran Hoai Sang, 37 years old, Ward 6, Tuy Hoa City, Phu Yen Province, felt tired, coughed, had difficulty breathing, and took medicine but it did not help.
Truong Sa Island Infirmary receives and treats Phu Yen fishermen
The patient was taken to Truong Sa Island Infirmary for emergency treatment at 7:30 a.m. on November 18 by fishing boat PY 90036 TS captained by Mr. Mai Ngoc Hieu, born in 1986, Ward 6, Tuy Hoa City, Phu Yen Province. After diagnosis and monitoring, the patient had a viral fever and a rash all over his body.
Immediately after that, emergency blood tests, blood biochemistry, emergency X-ray, fever reduction, electrolyte rehydration, oxygen therapy, antihistamine antibiotics, prophylactic antibiotics, vital signs monitoring and general condition monitoring were performed.
The forces are still monitoring Mr. Tran Hoai Sang, 37 years old, Ward 6, Tuy Hoa City, Phu Yen Province.
Currently, the patient's vital signs are stable with M84 breaths/min, BP 125/80 mmHg, temperature 38 degrees Celsius, SPO2 98%; the patient is alert, responsive, still has a fever of 38 degrees Celsius, less tired, and there is still a maculopapular rash scattered all over the body.
Military medical forces continue to closely monitor the patient's condition and promptly report any abnormalities.
