On the afternoon of June 17, at My An beach (Da Nang), there were many domestic and international tourists coming to play sports , walk and swim.

However, according to records, a stretch of beach stretching dozens of meters here is "surrounded" by water hyacinth. In many places, tree trunks and leaves of water hyacinth are crushed and scattered.

Down below, waves occasionally wash water hyacinths ashore. Some beachgoers have to scoop them up and throw them on the sand.

Mr. Trinh Duc Thanh (tourist from Hanoi ) said that when he and his family went swimming in the sea, they were quite surprised to see a lot of duckweed drifting ashore.

"This beach is very beautiful and has many tourists, especially international tourists. They play volleyball, swim, or lie down reading books... Therefore, we need to clean up the duckweed soon to restore the fresh, clean space. Leaving such an image is a bit offensive," Mr. Thanh shared.
