On July 10, the Social Insurance Agency of Region XXVII (Social Insurance Agency of Region 27, managing Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau , and former Binh Duong) informed that this agency will continue to implement policies to support health insurance (HI) and voluntary social insurance (VSI) contributions for groups of beneficiaries supported by local budgets according to resolutions of the People's Council of Binh Duong province (old) and the People's Council of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province (old) until the expiration of the resolution or a new resolution replaces it.

Therefore, the right to medical examination and treatment of people in supported groups will continue to be guaranteed from July 1, 2025 .

Previously, the People's Council of Binh Duong province (old) issued Resolution No. 15/2022/NQ-HDND on regulating the level of support for voluntary social insurance and health insurance contributions for a number of subjects in Binh Duong province in the period of 2023-2025; Resolution No. 06/2024/NQ-HDND on regulating the criteria for establishment, number of members; and expenditure levels for security and order protection teams in Binh Duong province (old).

The People's Council of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province (old) also has Resolution No. 04/2020/NQ-HDND regulating the level of health insurance support for students studying ateducational and training institutions in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province (old);

Resolution No. 109/NQ-HDND approving the sustainable poverty reduction program for the period 2022-2025 in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province (old);

Resolution No. 04/2024/NQ-HDND stipulates the criteria for establishment, criteria for the number of members of security and order protection teams; the level of support, compensation, allowances and ensuring operating conditions for forces participating in security and order protection at the grassroots level in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province (old),

Resolution No. 12/2024/NQ-HDND stipulates the policy of supporting health insurance cards for people aged 65 and over residing in the province.
