Accordingly, the neighborhoods will be named in order from 1 to 42, to overcome the problem of duplicate names after the arrangement of administrative units.

At the meeting, the Ward People's Council also approved the working regulations of the People's Council, the Standing Committee of the People's Council and the delegations; regulations on receiving citizens, focusing on receiving, handling and supervising the results of handling complaints and feedback.

In his speech, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Ward People's Council Nguyen Tan Ban requested the Ward People's Committee to direct the neighborhoods to complete the change of nameplates and signs of headquarters before July 30. The implementation must ensure synchronization and convenience for the people and the administration.

Previously, from July 11 to 13, the Ward People's Committee consulted 24,553 people on the renaming plan with 99.96% of the opinions in agreement. The renaming of the neighborhood was considered necessary, contributing to clarifying the boundaries, facilitating management work and better serving the people.
