Destroyed 7,175 boxes of medicine of unknown origin

Authorities have destroyed 7,175 boxes of medicine without invoices or documents proving their origin.

On December 5, Bac Hong Linh Ward Police ( Ha Tinh Province) announced that they had destroyed all evidence in the administrative violation case of trading in goods of unknown origin.

Previously, at 6:15 p.m. on September 22, at Thuan Hong residential group, Bac Hong Linh Ward Police coordinated with functional forces to inspect car with license plate 29K-11.xxx driven by Mai Van Thang (born in 1998, residing in Ho Vuong commune, Thanh Hoa province). Through inspection, functional forces discovered that the car was carrying 7,175 boxes of various types of medicine.

The entire shipment of drugs had no legal invoices or documents. According to initial estimates, the shipment was worth up to billions of VND, including many types of specialty drugs.
