Yen So Veterans Association sets an example in building a rich and beautiful ward

At the conference, Chairman of the Yen So Ward Veterans Association Vu Duc Chieu presented a speech reviewing the proud journey - 36 years of the Vietnam Veterans Association 's Traditional Day and affirmed that the Yen So Ward Veterans Association always strives to fulfill its position, role, functions and tasks, contributing to building a civilized, prosperous and happy ward.

In particular, implementing the emulation movement "Exemplary Veterans", the association regularly cares for the material and spiritual lives of its members. On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the association visited and presented gifts to 25 members who are typical war invalids, sick soldiers, victims of toxic chemicals, members in difficult circumstances, and relatives of meritorious families with a total amount of more than 153.5 million VND.

In particular, the Ward Veterans Association has successfully implemented the model of skillful mass mobilization, launching a special emulation movement. In particular, the branches have registered very specific projects and tasks: Being a pilot on "Skillful Mass Mobilization" work, coordinating with departments, branches, and organizations to mobilize people and members to carry out the task of clearing the land for the road connecting Phap Van - Cau Gie road with Ring Road 3 through the ward and the project to build Yen So Primary School at plot C3/TH2...

At the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of Yen So Ward Party Committee Giang Chi Trung acknowledged and highly appreciated the outstanding results of the Ward Veterans Association in recent times. He requested the Association to continue to maintain and promote the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, build the image of exemplary, responsible veterans, and practice what they preach.

Along with that, the Association needs to improve the quality of the emulation movement "Exemplary Veterans"; maintain and replicate effective models, actively participate in urban beautification, environmental protection, and maintenance of urban order and civilization; promote the core role of members in residential areas; maintain the role of a reliable force of the Party, a support for the people; take better care of the material and spiritual lives of members...

Respectfully acknowledging the contributions of veteran comrades, comrade Giang Chi Trung expressed his pride and confidence: With the tradition of "Loyalty - Solidarity - Exemplary - Innovation", the Veterans Association of Yen So ward will continue to be united, proactive, creative, contributing to building the locality to be more civilized, modern, rich and beautiful, with happy people; a bright spot in implementing the urban government model of the Capital.
