Old man died in an accident while pushing his bike across the street

On May 18, information from Gia Loc District Police ( Hai Duong Province) said that the authorities are urgently investigating and clarifying the accident that caused an old man to die while walking his bicycle across the street.

Specifically, the incident occurred at around 8:00 p.m. on May 17, at Km 6+700 National Highway 38B (in Doan Thuong Commune, Gia Loc District, Hai Duong Province), Mr. Pham Dang K. (40 years old, residing in Duc Xuong Commune, Gia Loc District) was driving a car with license plate 15C - 16.181 in the direction of Gia Loc - Thanh Mien.

When moving to Km6+700 National Highway 38B, the car driven by Mr. K. collided with an old man named D.D.D (78 years old, residing in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province) when Mr. D. was pushing his bicycle across the street.

The collision killed Mr. D. and severely damaged both vehicles.

The incident is being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
