Trieu Phong commune has an area of 80.8 ^km2 , a population of over 23,200 people, established on the basis of merging Trieu Thanh commune, Trieu Thuong commune and Ai Tu town. In recent times, the commune has completed the organization of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front and socio- political organizations, professional agencies, public service units... on schedule and in accordance with regulations.

In the economic field, in the first 6 months of the year, the total production value in the area is estimated at 1,035 billion VND. Enterprises and production facilities in the area maintain operations, invest in technological innovation, attract more workers, and improve production efficiency. The whole commune has 100% of residential areas recognized as cultural. The administrative reform field is focused on. National defense - security (QP, AN), social order and safety (TTATXH) are maintained.

At the working session, based on the recommendations and proposals of Trieu Phong commune, members of the working group discussed and clarified the local proposals.

Speaking at the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang acknowledged the initial results of Trieu Phong commune in operating the two-level local government model.

Regarding some tasks in the coming time, the Provincial Party Secretary requested to continue to thoroughly grasp and seriously implement the Central's direction, especially the important speech with strategic orientation by General Secretary To Lam at the working session with the Standing Committee of Quang Binh - Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee on June 25, 2025.

The commune Party Committee needs to innovate its development thinking, the organization must be streamlined, without overlap, with clear people, clear work, clear responsibilities, and clear results. In addition, Trieu Phong commune needs to focus highly on the preparation for the organization of the Commune Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, the process of building documents needs to promote collective intelligence.

Trieu Phong commune needs to further improve the management capacity, sense of responsibility, and professionalism of its staff in implementing tasks, exploiting land and labor potential, developing trade and services, and increasing income; ensuring national defense, security, political security, and social order and safety; promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc, taking care of building a new cultural life in residential areas; effectively implementing the new rural construction program, associated with the task of sustainable poverty reduction.

Previously, Provincial Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang inspected the operation of the Trieu Phong Commune Public Administration Service Center.

Through the inspection, the Provincial Party Secretary acknowledged and highly appreciated the spirit, working attitude and handling of administrative procedures of the staff at the center. Along with that, the commune has completed the facilities, equipment, organized the reception and handling of administrative procedures for the people with good results, with the rate of files returned on time reaching 100%.
