Responding to the campaign "Proud of a strip of country" and the movement "Creative Youth, join hands to protect the environment", recently, the Youth Union of Thach Binh commune ( Ha Tinh city, Ha Tinh province) has deployed to collect plastic formex sheets and scrap iron to "manufacture" check-in points to spread love for the homeland and country.

Mr. Dang Van Thach, Secretary of the Youth Union of Thach Binh commune, said that after collecting the scrap, the youth union members agreed to create models simulating sacred symbols of the Fatherland such as the Truong Sa and Hoang Sa landmarks and the Hanoi flagpole. After just over 2 weeks of working, the models made from scrap were completed.

"At the 6th Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of Ha Tinh City, term 2024 - 2029, which took place from August 8 to 9, we displayed the above symbolic models at the venue for delegates to check in and take photos. This activity has contributed to promoting and inspiring delegates attending the congress and young people about the awareness of preserving and protecting the environment, spreading love for the homeland and country," said Mr. Thach.

According to Mr. Thach, on the occasion of the new school year opening, the Youth Union of Thach Binh commune will present models of Truong Sa and Hoang Sa landmarks and the Hanoi flagpole made from recycled materials to the commune's kindergarten to help students have a more intuitive understanding of the sacred symbols of the Fatherland.
