
According to VNA correspondent in Latin America, taking place from November 27 to December 1 in the coastal city of Puerto Cabello, Carabobo state, FITVEN 2025 attracted the participation of 3,000 Venezuelan tourism businesses and travel agencies from 35 countries and territories, including 7 Vietnamese tourism businesses.
Speaking at the opening of the event, Venezuelan Tourism Minister Leticia Gómez emphasized that FITVEN is the most important event for the country's tourism industry and the Latin American region, creating a space for connecting and expanding international cooperation, affirming that Venezuela wishes to introduce to international friends its potential, strengths, rich natural landscapes and the image of a peace- loving, hospitable country.
Meanwhile, President of the Venezuelan National Brand, Ms. Daniella Cabello, said that FITVEN 2025 is the largest fair ever held, the event not only introduces tourism opportunities of all 24 states of Venezuela and Latin American countries but also expands to the fields of economic cooperation - trade, agriculture, industry, culture and investment.

At the event, representing the Vietnamese delegation, Ambassador Vu Trung My expressed his sincere thanks to the Venezuelan Government for its warm welcome and invitation to Vietnamese travel businesses to attend the event. The Ambassador emphasized that the participation of Vietnamese businesses at FITVEN not only demonstrates the traditional friendship between the two countries but also opens up opportunities to establish new connections, gradually building a bridge for bilateral tourism cooperation.
According to Ambassador Vu Trung My, Vietnamese travel businesses bring to FITVEN a spirit of cooperation and goodwill to expand the market, contributing to promoting people-to-people exchanges and enhancing mutual understanding between Vietnam, Venezuela and the countries participating in the event.
At the reception for the Vietnamese delegation, Venezuelan Tourism Minister Leticia Gómez highly appreciated the fact that Vietnamese travel businesses had come to Venezuela during this period to study the market, meet partners and explore cooperation potential. This is a vivid manifestation of the spirit of trust and goodwill for cooperation between the two countries on the other side of the Pacific.

Minister Gómez expressed his hope that after FITVEN 2025, Vietnamese businesses will become an important bridge bringing Vietnamese tourists to Venezuela, Latin America and vice versa. The Venezuelan Government, through the Ministry of Tourism, pledged to be ready to accompany and provide maximum support to facilitate cooperation activities, delegation exchanges, tour-route connections, professional training and sharing of experiences in sustainable tourism development.
Speaking to VNA reporters in Latin America, Mr. Cao Hoai Vi, Director of Migola Travel Company, highly appreciated the organization of the host country: “While Venezuela is still facing many difficulties, FITVEN was organized in a very orderly and professional manner, creating a sense of security for international delegations.
Migola Travel Director said that participating in FITVEN helps Vietnamese businesses directly access the network of local partners, transportation and accommodation units and local tourism agencies; at the same time, learn more about the culture, cuisine and life of the people of Venezuela and Latin America.
