Binh Dinh: Continuously discovering pork of unknown origin, giving off a foul smell

On January 14, the Market Management Department of Binh Dinh province said that the unit had just coordinated with the An Nhon Town Police and the Agricultural Service Center of this town to inspect and discover 300kg of pork of unknown origin and without invoices and documents in the area.

The above pork was discovered by functional units on January 14 at a fresh food business managed by Ms. PTS (in Binh Dinh ward, An Nhon town). At the time of inspection, Ms. S. could not present documents, invoices and product origin.

The authorities have drawn up a record of inspection, fined and temporarily seized all the pork, about 300kg. This food will be destroyed in accordance with the law.

Also according to the Binh Dinh Market Management Department, on January 3, also in An Nhon town, Market Management Team No. 4 (Binh Dinh Province Market Management Department) inspected and discovered 217kg of pork of unknown origin and documents and invoices. The pork was discovered at a business household owned by Mr. BTL (residing in Quan Quang village, Nhon Khanh commune, An Nhon town).

Notably, all the pork was contained in styrofoam boxes without product labels, no slaughter control marks, and was in the process of decomposition, with a foul odor that did not ensure veterinary hygiene. Upon discovery, the authorities seized all the dirty pork to destroy it according to the correct procedures and regulations.
