Dak Lak Provincial Military Command received the Second Class Fatherland Protection Medal

Dak Lak Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dinh Trung believes that with 80 years of glorious history and heroic tradition, officers and soldiers of Dak Lak province's armed forces will overcome all difficulties and challenges to successfully carry out all tasks, continue to foster revolutionary traditions and patriotism, create favorable conditions for socio -economic development, and strengthen national defense and security. The provincial armed forces join hands and overcome difficulties to build Dak Lak province to develop rapidly, sustainably, and become increasingly rich and civilized, and together with the whole country, enter the era of national development.

Authorized by the President , Dak Lak Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dinh Trung awarded the Second Class Fatherland Protection Medal to the Dak Lak Provincial Military Command for its outstanding achievements in training, combat readiness, building the people's army, consolidating national defense, and contributing to the cause of national construction and protection.

According to the People's Committee of Dak Lak province, after the victory of the August Revolution, on September 23, 1945, the Viet Minh Provincial Committee decided to establish the Dak Lak Provincial Military Committee, with the core being the N'Trang Long Liberation Battalion. This was a historical milestone, marking the birth of the Dak Lak Provincial Armed Forces.

Over the past eight decades, through two great resistance wars of the nation against French colonialism and American imperialism, the army and people of all ethnic groups in Dak Lak have stood shoulder to shoulder, overcome countless difficulties and hardships and achieved glorious feats of arms, contributing worthily to the common revolutionary cause of the whole country. Entering the period of building and defending the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam, the armed forces of Dak Lak province continued to participate in the struggle to resolve the FULRO issue, smashing acts of aggression, making an important contribution to the victory in the war to protect the southwestern border of the Fatherland and fulfilling international obligations. The armed forces of Dak Lak province have comprehensively deployed local defense and military tasks, taking care to build a strong national defense. This is also the pioneer and core force in preventing and fighting natural disasters, storms, floods, and epidemics (typically COVID-19). Officers and soldiers of the Dak Lak Provincial Armed Forces have been present in most difficult and arduous places to help people stabilize their lives.

Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee Ta Anh Tuan affirmed that over the past 80 years, the armed forces of Dak Lak province have inherited and promoted the nation's heroic and indomitable tradition in fighting foreign invaders. All officers and soldiers of the armed forces have always shown the spirit of a heroic army, worthy of President Ho Chi Minh's teachings: "Our army is loyal to the Party, filial to the people, ready to fight and sacrifice for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for socialism; every task will be completed, every difficulty will be overcome, every enemy will be defeated". Thanks to that, the armed forces of Dak Lak province have affirmed their role and position as an absolutely loyal and trustworthy political and fighting force, a sharp tool to protect the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Dak Lak province.
