The Provincial Military Command donated 20 tons of rice to people affected by natural disasters.

On the morning of October 15, at Thuan Hoa commune, the Tuyen Quang Provincial Military Command coordinated with sponsors to donate 20 tons of rice to people affected by storm No. 10. Attending the event were Colonel Le Anh Tuan, Deputy Commander of the Provincial Military Command; and leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Society.

During the recent flood caused by storm No. 10, Thuan Hoa commune had 3 villages severely flooded, including over 100 households completely flooded, many school facilities were affected; many crops were lost; total damage was over 20 billion VND.

Joining hands to overcome the consequences of natural disasters with people in flood-affected areas in general and Thuan Hoa commune in particular, the Military Command of Tuyen Quang province has connected with the Nghia Lam Loving Women's Club, Ninh Binh province to donate 20 tons of rice to affected people, poor households, and policy families in Thuan Hoa commune.

One thousand people in Thuan Hoa commune will receive rice, helping people overcome difficulties after natural disasters.

Through the activity, the Provincial Military Command wishes to contribute to sharing difficulties, helping people to soon stabilize their lives, gradually restore production and stabilize their livelihoods. This is also an activity demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, mutual love, promoting the role of the armed forces in caring for and supporting people in times of trouble.
