Deploying 2 administrative procedures on social insurance on VNeID

Vietnam Social Security has issued Official Dispatch No. 2546/BHXH-CSXH to its affiliated units and social security agencies of provinces and cities (hereinafter referred to as provincial social security agencies) on the implementation of administrative procedures. in the field of social insurance policy on VNeID application.

The deployment aims to implement Plan No. 02-KH/BCĐTW dated June 19, 2025 of the Central Steering Committee on science, technology development, innovation and digital transformation, aiming to promote interconnected, synchronous, fast and effective digital transformation to meet the requirements of restructuring the apparatus of the political system.

Specifically, 2 administrative procedures in the field of implementing social insurance policies on the VNeID application include: "Resolving maternity benefits for employees who quit their jobs before giving birth or adopting a child" and "Resolving transfer of benefits to another location for people receiving monthly pensions and social insurance benefits and people waiting to receive monthly pensions and benefits".

To ensure effective implementation, the Director of Vietnam Social Security requests provincial social security agencies and units under Vietnam Social Security to seriously implement the following contents.

For provincial-level social insurance, first of all, report to the Provincial People's Committee to direct the Department of Health and the Department of Justice of the province and city to share data related to the settlement of sickness and maternity benefits for employees according to the provisions of Clause 1 and Clause 2, Article 5 of Decision No. 69/QD-TTg dated January 10, 2025 of the Prime Minister.

Next, instruct the grassroots social insurance and related units to assign and assign specific responsibilities to each relevant department and individual in receiving documents, resolving maternity benefits for employees who quit their jobs before giving birth or adopting children, resolving transfer to other locations for people receiving monthly pensions and social insurance benefits and people waiting to receive monthly pensions and benefits; and respond to the status of documents to the VNeID application according to the correct procedure.

Along with that, coordinate with press agencies and media agencies to inform and propagate to employees , people receiving monthly pensions and social insurance benefits and people waiting to receive monthly pensions and benefits about the advantages of performing 2 administrative procedures on the VNeID application.

At the same time, promptly report any problems arising during the implementation process to the Provincial People's Committee and Vietnam Social Security; periodically on the last day of each month, summarize the implementation results of the month and transfer them to Vietnam Social Security (through the Social Insurance Policy Implementation Board).

The Vietnam Social Security Office advises on the announcement of administrative procedures and online public services for 2 administrative procedures in the field of implementing social insurance policies on the VNeID application as above.

Units under the Vietnam Social Security shall implement related contents according to their assigned functions and tasks. The Social Insurance Policy Implementation Board shall preside over and coordinate with relevant units to grasp the implementation situation and promptly propose solutions to handle problems arising during the implementation process.
