Conference on legal knowledge training on legal aid and authority of the People's Committee at the commune level

On the morning of October 15, the Department of Justice organized a conference to foster legal knowledge on legal aid and the authority of the People's Committee at the commune level in performing a number of judicial tasks when implementing the two-level local government model in 2025.

Equipping and updating legal knowledge helps grassroots cadres improve their capacity and professional skills, meeting practical requirements when implementing the two-level local government model. The conference helps grassroots cadres exchange and resolve difficulties and obstacles in legal, administrative, civil status and judicial support work.

Delegates listened to reporters from the Department of Justice present four key topics: Law on legal aid; coordination in implementing legal aid; civil status work and discuss and answer legal situations at the grassroots level.

Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Vu Thi Nhu Trang, Deputy Director of the Department of Justice, acknowledged the opinions and recommendations of the delegates; at the same time, emphasized that this is an important basis for the Department of Justice to continue researching and advising on perfecting institutions and improving the effectiveness of judicial work at the grassroots level.

The conference aims to strengthen the legal capacity of commune-level officials, contributing to the effective implementation of Project 06 of the Government , building a modern, professional, rule-of-law administrative system serving the people.
