Ministry of Public Security requests Gia Lai to provide information on 24 green tree projects

On June 29, a source told Thanh Nien that the Ministry of Public Security's Security Investigation Agency had issued a document requesting relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals in Gia Lai province to provide evidence, objects, documents, and data on tree planting and care projects in the province to serve the investigation.

Phu Thien district is a locality with many green tree projects.

Accordingly, the Security Investigation Agency is investigating a case of violating bidding regulations causing serious consequences; giving and receiving bribes occurring at Cong Minh Green Tree Company Limited and other provinces and cities.

To serve the investigation, the Security Investigation Agency requested the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee to assign the Gia Lai Provincial Department of Finance to coordinate with relevant agencies to provide information and documents related to tree planting and care projects; detailed list of materials; list of contractors participating in the project implementation; list of advances and payments to contractors; approved detailed budget estimates, etc.

The Ministry of Public Security's Security Investigation Agency has compiled detailed statistics on 24 tree planting and care projects in Gia Lai province that require information. Of which, Chu Prong, Duc Co, and Ia Pa districts each have one project; Krong Pa District and Pleiku City have two projects; Chu Puh District has three projects; Dak Po District and Chu Se District have four projects; and Phu Thien District has six projects.
