Ministry of Industry and Trade works with communes and wards on industrial and commercial decentralization

(DTO) On August 13, the Ministry of Industry and Trade 's working delegation led by Mr. Le Hoang Tai - Deputy Director of the Trade Promotion Agency, together with leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade of Dong Thap province, worked with the People's Committee of Tan Hoa commune and 15 communes and wards in the area on the implementation of the 2-level local government model, strengthening decentralization and delegation of power in the fields of industry and trade.

At the meeting, communes and wards in the area reported on the implementation of tasks to reorganize the two-level local government apparatus, the results of decentralization and delegation of authority in the management of industry and trade, as well as difficulties and obstacles in practice.

At the same time, a number of solutions were proposed to ensure smooth, stable and effective implementation. Notably, civil servants at the commune and ward levels had to undertake many tasks in the field of industry and trade (industry, energy, trade, services, etc.), so they needed time to adapt. Localities recommended that the Ministry of Industry and Trade organize appropriate training and professional development courses to improve capacity, especially in granting Certificates of Origin of goods, managing e-commerce sales and intellectual property to improve capacity and meet work requirements in the current period.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Le Hoang Tai - Deputy Director of the Department of Trade Promotion (Ministry of Industry and Trade) acknowledged the efforts of local authorities, requested localities to continue to closely follow the direction of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Provincial People's Committee, proactively review procedures, improve initiative in handling records, creating favorable conditions for businesses and business households.

The Department of Industry and Trade of Dong Thap province will fully synthesize the recommendations to report to the Ministry of Industry and Trade for timely consideration and resolution, aiming to improve the effectiveness of state management and better serve the people and businesses in the context of implementing the 2-level local government model.

It is known that during the 3 days of August 12, 13 and 15, the Working Group will work with 102 communes and wards in Dong Thap province to promptly receive and resolve difficulties, and at the same time guide and support local civil servants to perform well the decentralized and delegated tasks.
