According to Lieutenant General Tran Ngoc Tuan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Hanoi Capital High Command, after 9 years of implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TU, Party committees, Party organizations, cadres, Party members, and the masses in the capital's armed forces have always been deeply aware of the meaning, position, and necessity of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style.
Accordingly, Party committees and commanders at all levels have organized the implementation of Directive No. 05-CT/TU in conjunction with key tasks, overcoming weaknesses and weak points, promoting the role, responsibility, and active participation of organizations and forces, making the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style increasingly systematic, substantive, and effective.
Through that, many new models and creative approaches have emerged in units under the Command, contributing to building a strong and clean Party organization; exemplary and comprehensively strong agencies and units; and excellent mass organizations. The overall quality and combat strength of the armed forces have been increasingly improved, meeting the requirements of the task of protecting the Fatherland and the Capital in the new situation.
In particular, the units coordinated to resolve the "hot spot" in Dong Tam commune, My Duc district; promptly mobilized tens of thousands of officers and soldiers of the regular force and militia, thousands of vehicles, regardless of hardship, danger, wading through rain, floods, storms to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, prevent the Covid-19 pandemic... leaving good impressions of the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers, the cultural beauty of the Capital's soldiers.
Promote the spirit of "Accelerate, Breakthrough"
The Information Battalion under the General Staff (Hanoi Capital Command) is one of the typical units in the movement of studying and following Uncle Ho. Each officer and soldier always has high determination in carrying out their tasks; in addition to implementing well the instructions of superiors and emulation movements associated with the requirements of work tasks, the officers and soldiers of the Battalion also actively participate in outdoor activities combined with mass mobilization, gaining the trust of the people.
The Battalion's recent field trip combined with mass mobilization in Duyen Ha commune, Thuong Tin district left many impressions on the local people when it carried out the work of clearing weeds, sweeping and arranging the martyrs' cemetery area; repairing and dredging canals, cleaning village roads, alleys, schools; coordinating the organization of cultural exchange activities, the "Forever love between the army and the people" art festival...
At the 301st Infantry Division, emulation movements have also been strengthened, in the spirit of promoting the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the new situation. Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Duc Manh, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the 301st Infantry Division, shared that studying and following Uncle Ho's example has become increasingly routine, closely linked with emulation movements and campaigns, creating positive motivation in building Party committees and Party cells to excellently complete their tasks; exemplary and comprehensively strong agencies and units. From 2015 to present, the Division has had 858 collectives and 3,028 individuals commended at all levels. In particular, in recognition of its achievements, in 2024, the Division was honored to receive the First Class Fatherland Protection Medalfrom the President .
Colonel Nguyen Hong Hai, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Logistics and Technical Department, also said that the Party Committee has set an example, improving the quality of logistics and technical work, meeting the requirements of the tasks of the Capital's armed forces. In particular, the unit's leaders also directed the promotion of the emulation movement "The Military Logistics Sector follows Uncle Ho's teachings", the campaign "Management and exploitation of weapons and technical equipment well, durably, safely, economically and in traffic safety" is increasingly going into depth, practicality and effectiveness.
Continuing to promote positive results, in the coming time, Party committees and commanders at all levels in the Capital's armed forces will innovate and improve the quality of propaganda work on Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, promote the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers in conjunction with implementing the spirit of "7 dares" (dare to think; dare to speak; dare to do; dare to take responsibility; dare to innovate and create; dare to face difficulties and challenges; dare to act for the common good, for the country and for the people); well implement the guiding ideology and major orientation of the Party and General Secretary To Lam on the new era - the era of national development. Each officer and soldier will further promote the spirit of "Accelerating, breaking through" in all tasks and areas of operation of the agency and unit, ensuring quality and practical efficiency.
