The Vietnamese team will be a guest of Malaysia in the second match of Group F - Round 3 of the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers. This is a very important match for both teams as it will greatly affect the ticket to the 2027 Asian Cup Finals. In each group, only the group winner will advance and both the Vietnamese and Malaysian teams won their opening matches.

Before June 4, domestic fans are at risk of not being able to watch the match considered the most important for the Vietnamese team in 2025. The reason is that the broadcasting rights for matches in the Asian Cup and World Cup qualifiers in Asia will be managed by the host country. If they want to have the live broadcasting rights, the visiting team's TV station will have to buy them separately.

However, according to the latest updates, Vietnam Television Station VTV has acquired the broadcasting rights for the match between Vietnam and Malaysia on June 10. Not only that, VTV also owns the broadcasting rights for the remaining two away matches of the Vietnam team in the final qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup against Nepal and Laos.

Thus, Vietnamese fans will be able to watch all of the Vietnamese team's matches in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers officially, with 3 away matches and 3 home matches. This is great news as fans can indulge their passion and cheer for the team on the small screen.

With the addition of many naturalized players, Malaysia clearly showed their determination to defeat the Vietnamese team and win a ticket to the Asian Cup Finals. Before that, they also completed the call-up of naturalized Colombian striker Rodrigo Holgado. This player has joined Malaysia and is ready to play. The upcoming match will clearly be very difficult for the red team.

On the other hand, the Vietnamese team is facing great difficulties in terms of personnel. Cong Phuong is the latest name of the "Golden Dragons" to have to say goodbye due to injury. Previously, two central defenders Bui Hoang Viet Anh and Nguyen Thanh Binh also had to leave the team for similar reasons.
