This “Palace in the Clouds” is located 122 meters above the city center on the roof of a high-rise building.

The “sky mansion” built on top of the Kingfisher Towers skyscraper in UB City, Bengaluru, India is a very famous private residence, but currently has no one living there.

In 2010, businessman Vijay Mallya built a mansion on top of Kingfisher Towers. The unique mansion was designed to resemble the White House in the US and featured an infinity pool, helipad and expansive gardens.

The building was built based on the idea of the White House in the US.

This villa is located 122 meters above the ground, completely separate from the apartments below and has an area of over 12,000 square meters. It can be said that this is a "palace in the clouds" with all the most high-class amenities and elaborate architecture, luxurious in every detail.

However, Vijay Mallya may never get the chance to live in this nearly 500 billion VND space that he worked so hard to build. The reason is that its owner cannot return to India anymore.

Eight years ago, Vijay Mallya fled India for the UK after defaulting on more than $1 billion in debt and facing charges including fraud. Mallya has denied any wrongdoing.

Last year, British Security Minister Tom Tugendhat, asked about Mallya's extradition, said: "We (the UK and India) both have legal processes. But the UK government is absolutely clear, we have no intention of being a place where people who are seeking to escape justice can seek refuge."

In the meantime, the lavish mansion remains empty in the sky, with rumours that Mallya has never set foot inside.

Although the villa is uninhabited, it remains a famous architectural work of the city.
