Bo Trach: Speed up the progress of completing the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses

Implementing the first phase of the joint program on poverty reduction and poverty alleviation, Bo Trach district has a total of 180 poor and near-poor households in need of repairing and building new houses (91 houses repaired, 89 houses built). The work of poverty reduction and poverty alleviation in recent times has become a comprehensive movement, a bright spot in sustainable poverty reduction in the district.

With the determination and efforts in the work of reviewing, assessing, making a list of beneficiaries, mobilizing social resources... of sectors, units, organizations, and localities, up to now, the number of temporary and dilapidated houses in need of repair and new construction in the district has been basically completed.

Specifically, the total number of houses in the first phase that have started construction is 180/180 houses, the number of completed houses is 172/180 houses. Currently, 8 houses are being urged by localities to be completed for handover, ensuring according to the plan before June 30, 2025.

In the second phase of the program, Bo Trach district has 49 more poor and near-poor households in need of repairing or building new houses. To date, 18 houses have been started, of which 1 has been completed. According to the plan, the district directs localities to closely monitor the progress of the projects, ensuring completion before the 2025 storm season.
