According to Ngo Van Ninh, Director of the Investment and Construction Project Management Board of Le Thuy District, with the assigned functions and tasks, the unit has identified basic construction and land clearance as key and challenging tasks. Therefore, the unit implements projects with high concentration and unity of purpose; especially with the active, direct and regular guidance of the local Party committee and government.
Recognizing that basic construction is one of the key and primary tasks, the unit has actively advised the District People's Committee to direct and effectively implement projects funded by central, provincial, and district public investment budgets. Many projects have been completed and put into use, demonstrating effectiveness, ensuring timely completion, and the scale and quality of the works are increasingly high, meeting the requirements of basic construction tasks.

During the period 2022-2025, the Investment and Construction Project Management Board of Le Thuy district advised on the investment and construction of 30 new projects with a total allocated capital of 800 billion VND, of which nearly 700 billion VND has been disbursed; 14 projects have been completed and put into use; the remaining 16 projects will be carried over to 2025 for implementation.
“The projects managed and operated by the unit have ensured quality, adherence to schedule and construction procedures; management and operation have been continuously improved, and the completed projects have made a significant contribution to the development of key socio -economic programs of Le Thuy district…”, said the Director of the Investment, Construction and Land Development Project Management Board of Le Thuy district.
Identifying land clearance as the most difficult and complex stage in project implementation, due to its involvement in numerous regulatory documents and the wide range of affected parties, the Le Thuy District Investment and Construction Project Management Board has focused its leadership on ensuring project progress. It has closely coordinated with relevant agencies and local authorities to carry out land compensation and clearance in accordance with established principles and procedures. Simultaneously, it has effectively implemented public awareness campaigns and adopted flexible and appropriate solutions to meet the needs of all stakeholders.

In recent times, land clearance work for several projects in the district has been implemented effectively, such as: the General Vo Nguyen Giap Memorial Area; the Loc Thuy-An Thuy bridge and the roads at both ends of the bridge; the road connecting National Highway 1A to the beach square in Ngu Thuy Bac commune; the coastal road component project; and resettlement projects serving land clearance for the North-South expressway project…
“The process of land clearance for some local projects and works still faces some difficulties and obstacles due to objective reasons, such as: Affected people have not agreed to some of the State's policies and regulations; they do not agree to hand over the land; some land users have not been granted land use right certificates but have complex land use origins requiring time to verify the origin and timing… However, in general, land clearance work for projects and works is still within the assigned implementation plan…,” informed the Director of the Investment, Construction and Land Development Project Management Board of Le Thuy district.
To ensure the timely and planned implementation of projects, in the coming period, the Project Management Board for Investment, Construction and Land Development of Le Thuy District will continue to effectively manage and supervise projects to ensure quality and timely completion; assign competent and specialized personnel to monitor and supervise construction, ensuring technical and aesthetic standards…
At the same time, focus on resolving outstanding issues and obstacles in land clearance to ensure the progress of key local projects; effectively carry out surveying and counting; closely coordinate with agencies, units, and the governments of communes and towns to determine compensation prices and effectively implement land clearance for new projects and key projects…
