Director of the Le Thuy District Construction and Land Clearance Project Management Board, Ngo Van Ninh, said that with the assigned functions and tasks, the unit has identified basic construction and site clearance as key and difficult tasks. Therefore, the unit has implemented works and projects with high concentration and consensus on policies; especially with the active, direct and regular guidance of local Party committees and authorities.
Identifying basic construction as one of the key and main tasks, the unit has actively advised the District People's Committee to direct and effectively implement projects from public investment capital from the central, provincial and district budgets. Many projects have been accepted and put into use, promoting efficiency, ensuring the right progress, scale and increasingly high quality of works, meeting the requirements of basic construction tasks.

In the period of 2022-2025, the Le Thuy District Investment and Construction Project Management Board has advised on investing in the construction of 30 new projects with a total allocated capital of 800 billion VND, of which nearly 700 billion VND has been disbursed; 14 projects have been completed and put into use; the remaining 16 projects will be transferred to 2025 for implementation.
“The projects managed and operated by the unit have ensured quality, progress and construction process; management and operation work has been increasingly improved, the projects put into use have made an important contribution to the development of key socio -economic programs of the district…”, said the Director of the Management Board of Construction Investment and Development of Le Thuy district.
Determining the compensation and site clearance work is the most difficult and very complicated stage in the process of implementing projects, because it is subject to the adjustment of many systems of directive documents; at the same time, the affected components and subjects are wide. Therefore, in the past time, to ensure the progress of construction works, the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects and the Department of Planning and Investment of Le Thuy district has focused on leading the departments; closely coordinating with functional agencies and local authorities, carrying out compensation and site clearance work to ensure compliance with the prescribed principles and procedures; at the same time, implementing well the propaganda and mobilization work and having many flexible handling measures, suitable to the requirements of related subjects.

In recent times, site clearance work for a number of projects in the district has been effectively implemented, such as: General Vo Nguyen Giap Memorial Site; Loc Thuy-An Thuy Bridge and roads at both ends of the bridge; road connecting National Highway 1A to Ngu Thuy Bac Commune Sea Square; coastal road component project; resettlement projects serving site clearance work of the North-South Expressway project, etc.
“The implementation of site clearance work at some local projects and works has so far encountered some difficulties and obstacles due to objective reasons, such as: Affected people have not agreed to some policies of the State; have not agreed to hand over the site; some land users have not been granted land use right certificates but have complicated land use origins that require time to verify the origin and timing... However, in general, site clearance work at projects and works is still within the assigned implementation plan...”, the Director of the Management Board of Construction Investment and Development of Le Thuy district informed.
In order to implement the projects and works to ensure the progress and assigned plans, in the coming time, the Management Board of Construction Investment and Construction Investment of Le Thuy district will continue to effectively carry out the management and operation work and strengthen the supervision of the works to ensure quality and progress; arrange qualified and specialized staff to monitor and supervise the construction, ensure technical and aesthetic standards, etc.
At the same time, focus on thoroughly resolving the remaining problems in site clearance work to ensure the construction progress of key local projects; effectively implement the work of measurement and counting; closely coordinate with agencies, units, and authorities of communes and towns to apply compensation prices, effectively implement site clearance work for new projects and key projects...
