Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ta Anh Tuan: Running and queuing at the same time to implement the "Quang Trung Campaign" so that people can have houses before Tet.

On December 14th, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Ta Anh Tuan, inspected the implementation of the "Quang Trung Campaign" to build houses for households whose homes were completely destroyed or swept away by floods in Tuy An Tay commune.

Accompanying the delegation were leaders from relevant departments and agencies.

The leaders of the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects in the Eastern region of the province reported on the progress of the campaign.

Reporting at the inspection, the Chairman of the Tuy An Tay Commune People's Committee, Phan Quang Phi, stated that 50 households in the commune have received support to rebuild their homes. These are households whose houses were destroyed by floods and households located in landslide-prone areas in Vinh Xuan village.

To date, the local authorities have carried out initial work, gathering materials and manpower, leveling the ground, etc., to begin construction of 11 houses for households that own land. For the remaining households who do not have land to rebuild their homes, the local authorities are developing a plan and proposing a new resettlement area to build houses and relocate these households.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ta Anh Tuan inspected the house construction at the household of Mr. Quang Van Hanh in Xuan Yen village, Tuy An Tay commune.

Following the floods, Dak Lak province quickly launched the "Quang Trung Campaign," mobilizing all resources to build 633 new houses for the people.

These are houses that were destroyed by floods or are located in areas prone to serious landslides and need immediate relocation. To date, the province has started construction on 396 houses.

Authorities brought in heavy machinery to clear the site in preparation for the start of house construction.

During the inspection, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ta Anh Tuan instructed that all houses not subject to resettlement must begin construction next week and be completed before January 31, 2026, so that residents can have stable housing before Tet (Lunar New Year). On December 15, the province will issue an emergency order to build resettlement areas on the principle of "running and queuing simultaneously," completing procedures in parallel with construction.

On the same day, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also inspected the landslide situation on Provincial Road 650 and discussed solutions to ensure traffic safety on this route.
