On the morning of August 2, the Steering Committee of 09 Phong Phu communes, Tan Lac district organized the National Day for National Security Protection (TDBVANTQ) in 2024. This is the unit that organizes the festival in the province. Phong Phu commune has over 92% of the population being Muong ethnic people - the cultural cradle of Muong Bi region. Continuing and promoting the revolutionary tradition, in recent years, the commune has paid attention to building, expanding, and effectively promoting advanced models and typical examples in the TDBVANTQ movement that are suitable for reality. In the commune, there are no complicated hotspots of crime, drugs, and social evils. In particular, Phong Phu has transformed from a key area of complicated security and order. Many hamlets, communes, agencies, enterprises, andeducational establishments are safe in terms of security and order. With the achieved results, Phong Phu is one of the first two communes of Tan Lac district to be recognized as meeting new rural standards.
Speaking at the festival, Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Public Security acknowledged, commended and congratulated the results and achievements in the work of building the movement of "TDBVANTQ" of Hoa Binh province in general, and the government and people of Phong Phu commune, Tan Lac district in particular. The Minister of Public Security suggested: In the coming time, the Party committees and authorities in the province should promote the achieved results, continue to pay attention to leading and directing the effective implementation of the "TDBVANTQ" movement in conjunction with other emulation movements. Pay attention to building a force to protect public order and security at the grassroots level. Timely commend typical examples in the "TDBVATTQ" movement. Speaking at the festival, comrade Bui Van Khanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: Identifying the National Defense and Security Day as an important political event, in recent years, the Party committees and authorities of Hoa Binh province have focused on leading and directing the innovation of the content and form of organizing the annual festival towards the grassroots, ensuring practicality and effectiveness.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested: In the coming time, Tan Lac district in general and Phong Phu commune in particular should continue to strictly and effectively implement the directive documents on ensuring security and order and building the movement for national defense and security. The police force needs to proactively grasp the situation related to ensuring security and order, at the same time, closely coordinate with departments, branches, organizations and mobilize the strength of the entire population. Based on the results of organizing the provincial festival, districts and cities should study, learn from experience and effectively implement the National Defense and Security Festival in the area.
At the festival, the Ministry of Public Security presented commemorative medals to 7 individuals and certificates of merit to 1 collective and 1 individual; the Provincial Police presented certificates of merit to 2 collectives and 3 individuals; the People's Committee of Tan Lac district presented certificates of merit to 2 collectives and 6 individuals; the People's Committee of Phong Phu commune presented certificates of merit to 2 collectives and 4 individuals.
On this occasion, the Ministry of Public Security presented gifts to the People's Committee of Phong Phu commune and 10 gifts to families in especially difficult circumstances in the commune. The Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province presented gifts to the Party Committee, government, and people of Phong Phu commune; the Provincial Police presented 1 gratitude house; the Red Cross and Hoa Binh Telecommunications Association presented 40 gifts to families in difficult circumstances and poor students who have overcome difficulties.
Within the framework of the program, there are also activities: Issuing ID cards to people and providing instructions on installation, registration, and use of population data applications, electronic identification and authentication; free medical examination and medicine for people; sports competitions, folk games, and displaying local products.
