Military Region 4 Command visits and presents gifts to meritorious people in Thanh Hoa province

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on July 18, a working delegation of the Military Region 4 Command led by Major General Hoang Duy Chien, Deputy Commander of the Military Region, visited and presented gifts at the Center for Care and Nurturing of People with Meritorious Services and Policy Families in Thanh Hoa Province.

The delegation included: Colonel Nguyen Huu Vu, Deputy Commander, Thanh Hoa Provincial Military Command; Lieutenant Colonel Vo Huu Hoa, Deputy Chief of Political Affairs , Military Region General Staff; representatives of the Department of Motorcycles - Transportation/Department of Logistics - Engineering, Department of Policy/Department of Politics, Office of the Military Region Command; agencies and units under the Military Command, representatives of the Party Committee and local authorities of Thanh Hoa province.

At the Center for Care and Nurturing People with Meritorious Services (Sam Son Ward, Thanh Hoa Province), the working delegation presented 116 gifts from the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense and the Military Region 4 Command to the meritorious people and officers and staff of the Center. Major General Hoang Duy Chien happily announced the outstanding results in the policy work of the Military Region 4 in recent times. In particular, focusing on fully and promptly implementing the regimes and policies for war invalids, sick soldiers, and relatives of martyrs; well organizing gratitude activities, taking care of the material and spiritual life of people with meritorious services to the revolution.

Visiting and presenting gifts to a number of martyrs, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, and those infected with toxic chemicals, the working delegation kindly inquired about their health and daily life, and expressed deep gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and people with meritorious services to the revolution. Major General Hoang Duy Chien affirmed: the officers and soldiers of the Military Region's armed forces always remember and deeply appreciate the contributions of previous generations; at the same time, he hoped that Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, wounded soldiers, and relatives of martyrs would continue to live happily and healthily, and be a shining example for the younger generation to learn and follow.
