Ministry of Justice gives 740 million VND to help people overcome storm and flood consequences

On October 10, at the headquarters of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Minister of Justice Nguyen Hai Ninh, on behalf of officials, civil servants, public employees and workers of the agency, presented 740 million VND to support people affected by storms and floods.

Speaking at the donation ceremony, Minister Nguyen Hai Ninh expressed his deep sympathy for the losses that people in flood-affected areas had to endure. The collective leadership, cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers of the Ministry of Justice would like to express their sympathy, hoping to contribute to easing the pain and loss of our compatriots in the face of the enormous damage caused by natural disasters.

Ms. Ha Thi Nga, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front , on behalf of the people in the flood-affected areas, sincerely thanked the Ministry of Justice for the timely and responsible support. Ms. Nga said that on October 9 and 10, many organizations and individuals came directly to give donations, which is a testament to the spirit of solidarity of the Vietnamese people.

According to the report, as of 5:00 p.m. on October 9, 2025, the total value of registered donations through the Central Relief Mobilization Committee has reached nearly 848 billion VND. Ms. Ha Thi Nga emphasized that all funds will be allocated and transferred to each locality to ensure transparency, correct targets, and effectiveness in supporting people to stabilize their lives.

According to Ms. Nga, among the kind-hearted people, there was a 94-year-old woman who still brought 1 million VND to help people overcome the consequences of natural disasters. That image moved many people.
