Four days of Ba Ria holiday

On September 4, Mr. Trinh Hang, Director of the Department of Tourism of Ba Ria - Vung Tau, said that during the four days of the September 2 holiday, the number of visitors to the locality to have fun, swim, and stay was quite large. On the occasion of National Day this year, the locality welcomed about 535,106 visitors (an increase of 36.49% compared to 2022).

Of which, the number of guests staying is 111,538, an increase of 45% compared to 2022. International guests alone are 22,798, an increase of 280% compared to 2022.

Total tourism revenue during the four-day holiday reached about VND298,512 billion, up 29.45% compared to 2022.

The number of visitors to Vung Tau on September 2nd is higher than last year.

"This year, the room occupancy rate is about 80-85%, but on September 1, it only reached about 50% due to the small number of visitors to the province. On September 2 and 3, the whole province has many big festivals such as Vung Tau beer festival and EDM music night, buffet food, painting Vietnamese flags on T-shirts, kayaking tug of war, making and flying kites, watching outdoor movies, Let's Charm Fest 2023 music program, Live Music Food & Dinner program... so the number of visitors increased sharply," said Mr. Trinh Hang.

According to the director of the Department of Tourism of Ba Ria - Vung Tau , on September 2 and 3, the room capacity reached 90%. Especially in Chau Duc district, all tourist areas were fully booked on the evening of September 2 and September 3.

According to the reporter's records, throughout the four days of this year's holiday, the weather was unfavorable, with heavy rain, but tourists from Dong Nai, Binh Duong, and Ho Chi Minh City still came to Ba Ria - Vung Tau in large numbers.

Many people even braved the rain and stayed up all night to enjoy the EDM music at Bai Sau beach. This year, some expressways such as Phan Thiet - Dau Giay, Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet... have been put into operation, making travel more convenient. Therefore, people have more options for long holidays, such as traveling to Phan Thiet, Mui Ne, Cam Ranh, Nha Trang...

Many tourists turn to Binh Thuan to have fun and swim.
