Tran Thi Ban Mai (born in 2000) graduated with honors in communications from Fisher College, Massachusetts, USA and studied for a Master's degree at Southern New Hampshire University.

In 2022, Ban Mai attracted attention when she participated in Miss Peace Vietnam 2022 - the first contest held in Vietnam and she won the highest position. After being crowned, instead of "entering" showbiz activities, Miss Ban Mai attracted the attention of the beauty-loving community when she decided to become a VTV editor.

Sharing with PV Dan Viet , Miss Peace Vietnam 2022 said that she achieved excellent results with a total score of 89/100 (including writing: 90, interview: 92, recording: 85), surpassing 60 contestants participating in the VTV9 Editor and MC selection contest. Because of that, many viewers affectionately call Miss Ban Mai "VTV9 Editor's valedictorian", "VTV's youngest Editor"...

According to the beauty born in 2000, at first, she did not have too much hope that she would be selected. Because, VTV's MC and BTV recruitment is considered "difficult". "Luckily, I had the opportunity to work at VTV. I think it is true to say that "the profession chooses the person", but the important thing is your determination and passion for journalism.

I believe that when entering a new working environment, especially VTV, I need to relearn everything because each position will have its own requirements. When working at VTV, I was an MC, editor and reporter, so I had to improve my knowledge and skills in a short period of time to progress more and more," said Miss Ban Mai.

"Every time I appear, I always try to bring the best version. In each stage, I will have my own choices and priorities, and in this stage, I want to improve myself to do the best job as a journalist.
