On May 15, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province announced that to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025), the province will organize many meaningful activities. Notably, the art program combined with low-altitude fireworks display will take place at 7:30 p.m. on May 19 at Tran Van Thoi Town, Tran Van Thoi District.

The program is chaired by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau, organizing the art part; the People's Committee of Tran Van Thoi District is in charge of fireworks, serving the people in a solemn and exciting atmosphere.
On May 19, provincial leaders and many delegates will offer incense at the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial (Ca Mau City). Immediately after the ceremony, a tree planting ceremony will be launched in memory of Uncle Ho across the province. In Ca Mau City, the event will start at 7:30 a.m. on Nguyen Van Bay Street (Ward 1).
In May, Ca Mau will also organize many cultural and artistic activities to serve the people, such as: performances of reformed opera and Khmer art in the districts, exhibitions on Uncle Ho combined with extracurricular activities, the painting contest "Uncle Ho with children" (May 19), the contest "We tell stories about Uncle Ho" (May 22-23).
The ceremony to commend and report achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style will be held by Party committees and Party cells at the memorial site. Along with that, there will be a thematic flag-raising activity with the theme "Learning from Uncle Ho, following Uncle Ho" at all Party cells, agencies and units.
On this occasion, the province also organized the sports tournament "Physical training following the example of great Uncle Ho" on May 18-19 at the Provincial Sports Complex with 3 competitions: men's volleyball, pickleball and badminton.
The event is expected to spread patriotism, revolutionary ethics and gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh among all people.
