Theater of dreams is Dong Nhi's 4th studio album to celebrate 15 years of artistic activities, composed and produced by production group DTAP.

Instead of releasing the MV for the main song, Dong Nhi chose to organize a showcase to promote the project, performing live some songs, to show gratitude to the audience. At the showcase, Thinh Kainz of the group DTAP said that he is a "hardcore fan" and has followed Dong Nhi's career since the early days, so he is very passionate about the product. From the plan of only making a single, the two sides developed it into an album after a process of working together well.

The album consists of 13 songs, divided into 3 chapters in the style of Tarot cards: Inner chaos ( Burning planet, Lonely sun, Fireworks hugger, Knight and starlight, 1-0 ), Inner acceptance ( Heaven's will, Beauty and the beast, Difficult to please ) and Inner recovery ( Unfinished love songs, You, Nature, Beautiful months and years ). This is the first time Dong Nhi has produced and performed many new genres of music, especially in the last chapter.

Previously, the female singer organized many promotional activities such as interactive games, album preview sessions for 7 lucky fans, and revealed a short music clip of the song Knight and Starlight on TikTok.
