Singer Quynh Hoa 'renews' old songs with rustic music

Wandering is a duet album by singer Quynh Hoa and young singer Trinh Tri Anh. This is a special music project, where old music is retold with the rustic, delicate and emotional voices of two generations of artists.

Without focusing on innovation or innovation, the album retains the romantic, luxurious and beautiful sad spirit of the music genre that once created a golden age in Vietnamese music life.

The list of 10 songs on the album is a personal emotional choice and a fit for the artist's voice and spirit.

The entire album is arranged in a rustic acoustic style by guitarist Dao Nguyen. All songs use only one guitar, adding a light bass, or a layer of harmony.

In particular, the album Lang Du was recorded with audiophile standards (a form of recording at the highest level of sophistication and fidelity, to preserve all natural details of the sound).

In an era where many young artists choose remixes to "renew old music", Quynh Hoa chose a different path. The female singer said that she and Tri Anh do not innovate, nor are they nostalgic, but simply retell it in today's way. This simplicity is a deliberate choice to let the voice take center stage and the silence also have a voice.

In this album, Quynh Hoa said she did not come back to sing for herself, but to share with a young person the things music once whispered to her. It is a new language, calm, clear and honest.

Meanwhile, Trinh Tri Anh did not enter old music with a sense of inferiority, but with a love simple enough to preserve his identity.
