From early morning, the repair area was always bustling with the sound of engines, mixed with the laughter of soldiers and people. Many water-soaked, rusted, and stalled vehicles were carefully checked, cleaned, changed oil, and fixed every small error by the soldiers. There were vehicles that were too old and severely damaged, but the soldiers still patiently disassembled each part to repair, trying to save each vehicle for the people.

Corporal Nguyen Trung Kha, a soldier of Company 2, Battalion 7, a member of the vehicle repair team, shared: After nearly a week of returning to the people, witnessing the situation of the people, we all did our best to help the people as much as possible. Seeing that the people's vehicles were all damaged after the flood, everyone was anxious. Therefore, when we had the opportunity to repair the vehicles for the people, we were very happy, because we were able to promote our strengths to help the people more.

Captain Dam Van Tinh, Deputy Political Commissar of the Battalion, said: We were very concerned when we saw people without means of transportation because their vehicles were damaged by floodwaters and there were not enough machines and spare parts to repair them. So the unit coordinated with a partner unit to repair the vehicles for the people. We promoted the spirit of volunteering and volunteering of skilled comrades with high determination to help the people.

After a day of hard work, the 10 motorbikes that were still quiet in the morning started up and were happily driven home by their owners. Sergeant Truong Dinh Phuc, Squad Leader of Squad 7, Platoon 3 happily said: The motorbikes had many broken parts so they had to be repaired carefully, which took a lot of time, but we will try harder to help people have a means of transportation.

In addition to cleaning and repairing houses after the flood, officers and soldiers with expertise and skills were also promoted. The image of "soldiers" repairing houses, clearing mud, helping people harvest crops, examining patients, spraying disinfectants, repairing vehicles... has left a good impression of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the hearts of the people.
