* On the morning of April 18, at Tu Vu, King Le Dai Hanh Temple, Hoa Lu Ancient Capital Special National Relic Site, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Provincial Committee organized a Calligraphy Contest.
The contest was attended by leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; the Center for Conservation of Historical and Cultural Relics of Hoa Lu Ancient Capital; the Provincial Library; and leaders of the Fatherland Front of districts and cities.
The Calligraphy Contest had 46 contestants of different ages, subjects, and religious dignitaries. Contestants participated in 3 writing parts: writing "Dai Tu", writing "Hoanh Phi" (Paper-Paper), writing parallel sentences. Contestants were divided into 2 groups and the contest was organized into 2 rounds; the contest was done and timed according to drum signals.
The exam is evaluated based on standard, beautiful handwriting and reasonable layout, ensuring the time according to the regulations of the Organizing Committee.
Through 3 rounds, the contestants demonstrated their understanding, knowledge, abilities and skills in the art of Calligraphy. Many beautiful and profound calligraphy works contained the message and talent of the writer, expressing the aesthetics of the writing through each stroke, the way of presentation, the shape of the words; creating attraction and appeal to the audience.
At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded collective prizes including 1 first prize to the Fatherland Front Committee of Yen Mo district, 1 second prize to the Fatherland Front Committee of Yen Khanh district, 1 third prize to the Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Vien district, and 5 consolation prizes. Individual prizes included 1 first prize to contestant Dinh Hong Huy, Yen Phong commune, Yen Mo district; 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, 12 consolation prizes; 2 prizes for the oldest contestant and the youngest contestant.
Through the contest, we aim to preserve and promote the fine traditions and unique writing culture of the Vietnamese people, the people and the land of Ninh Binh .
This is an activity to celebrate the 1,100th anniversary of the birth of Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang (924-2024) and the Hoa Lu Festival in 2024; to welcome the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, towards the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029.
The contest has created conditions for those who love the art of Calligraphy to demonstrate their ability to understand, read and write Calligraphy. Striving to make Ninh Binh province one of the provinces and cities with a strong Calligraphy movement in the country.
* "Throwing" hundreds of discount vouchers for tourists when coming to Ninh Binh
From April 17-19, at the Hoa Lu Ancient Capital National Special Relic Site, the Department of Tourism organized a booth to display, promote and advertise Ninh Binh tourism.
This booth attracted the participation of nearly 10 tourism service businesses including restaurants, hotels, and destinations in the province.
With an area of 120m2, the booth is scientifically and attractively designed. For the convenience of visitors and people to visit and learn, the Organizing Committee has displayed thousands of publications in many languages such as Vietnamese, English, Japanese and arranged an online tourist information search machine.
At the same time, assign staff to be on duty at the booth to introduce to visitors the potential and strengths of Ninh Binh tourism. Especially on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Trang An Heritage being recognized as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage, Ninh Binh will organize a series of attractive and unique activities to celebrate the event.
Also at the booth, tourism service businesses launched about 200 discount vouchers with many incentive programs such as tour discounts, hotel discounts, and accommodation for tourists when visiting and using services in Ninh Binh.
Tourism promotion and advertising activities aim to introduce scenic spots, historical and cultural relics, craft villages, and culinary values of Ninh Binh to a wide range of tourists and people.
This is also an opportunity for businesses and travel companies to find partners and strengthen tourism cooperation with domestic and foreign businesses.
The booth will take place until April 19, the 11th day of the third lunar month, at the festival grounds of the Hoa Lu Ancient Capital Special National Monument Area.
*Art exchange program to celebrate Hoa Lu Festival
On the second day of Hoa Lu Festival and the 1100th anniversary of Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang's birth, the Mass Cultural Exchange Program organized by the Provincial Cultural Center attracted a large number of people and tourists from all over the country to enjoy.
The program has over 200 actors from 8 districts, cities, art clubs and art centers in the province. The art performances praise the beauty of the homeland, the country, the richness of the new rural areas...
With the investment, preparation and elaborate staging of costumes, performance style and content of the work, the Mass Art Exchange Program has attracted and created a strong impression on a large number of tourists visiting and attending the festival.
The program also contributes to introducing intangible cultural values, resources and unique local tourism products.
This is also an opportunity for local mass cultural and artistic nuclei to exchange, learn and share good experiences to develop cultural and artistic movements in the province.
