CAHN continues to lose troops at the Southeast Asian Cup

"This is an important match but we are missing Van Thanh, Dinh Bac and Leo Artur. However, the remaining players have trained effectively to prepare for this match," CAHN coach Mano Polking shared at a press conference on the morning of April 29.

The police team is facing difficulties in terms of personnel. The main striker Leo Artur is seriously injured and the return date is unknown. Dinh Bac is expected to be able to play again only in round 21 of V.League against Quang Nam . Van Do is having problems with his eyes, leaving open the possibility of playing. Most recently, Van Thanh also had health problems and will not be able to participate in the second leg of the semi-final.

Despite missing many key players, Coach Polking remains optimistic. The CAHN Club captain said: "I believe that with the preparation over the past week, the team will have a good match. In the first leg, we did not get the desired result despite having a lot of possession of the ball. Tomorrow, we need to regain our form, control the game and take advantage of opportunities to convert into goals."

He continued to analyze: "PSM has the advantage in terms of score, they will focus on counter-attacks and set pieces. We have analyzed the opponent carefully, but the most important thing is that CAHN must take advantage of the opportunity."

On PSM Makassar's side, coach Fernando Tavares highly appreciated CAHN, stating that this would be a difficult match as his team had to face many Vietnamese players. Similar to their opponents, PSM Makassar also aimed for victory to advance to the final.

"We are better prepared for this away match. Last time we came to Vietnam to play against Hai Phong , we lost 0-3. This time we hope to have a different result," Mr. Tavares shared.

Finally, the coach of PSM Makassar admitted: "CAHN has a bigger budget than us, owns many experienced and high-quality players. We cannot focus on just one player because football is a team sport . PSM's transfer value cannot be compared to CAHN, our squad includes many young players, so the determination for tomorrow's match is very high".

The match between CAHN and PSM Makassar in the second leg of the Southeast Asian Cup semi-finals will take place at 7:30 p.m. on April 30 at Hang Day Stadium. In the first leg, CAHN lost 0-1 to their opponents.
