Mui Treo is a tourist destination located in Huong Bac village, Vinh Kim commune, Vinh Linh district, Quang Tri province. From major cities, visitors can travel to Vinh Linh district by bus, car or motorbike. Then, visitors can rent motorbikes or bicycles and follow smaller roads to reach Mui Treo.

"I rented a large tent for 3 people for only 150,000 VND. The tent also came with a tarpaulin and thermal insulation, very convenient. Besides, I also rented a bicycle for 20,000 VND/bike, rented a motorbike for 100,000 VND/bike, the price was very reasonable, if not too cheap.

I hope Quang Tri will increasingly expand models to support people going backpacking like this, low cost but quality beyond expectations," she said.

Many tourists who come to Mui Treo to camp often choose the top of Mui Treo to pitch their tents. However, Ms. Hang's group decided to camp on the sand near the coast. From Mui Treo, go about 1km further and there will be a path down to the beach, with food stalls, showers and free parking.

In addition to the pristine natural scenery, bringing peace and relaxation, Ms. Hang is also attracted by the cuisine in Mui Treo in particular and Vinh Linh district in general.

"A bowl of Vinh Linh turmeric noodles costs only 10,000 VND, turmeric noodles, and grilled pork noodles cost only 20,000 VND. Seafood in Mui Treo includes dishes such as scallops, oysters, and fresh, sweet clams, and the prices are very cheap. Our whole group ate until we were full and only spent 290,000 VND. Eat once, remember for life," Ms. Hang shared.

Mui Treo in particular and Vinh Linh district in general have diverse and rich cuisine.

She also said that the biggest expense for her and her group of friends' camping trip was the bus ticket from Hanoi to Cua Tung, which cost 400,000 VND/person (holiday tickets are more expensive than normal days). The rest of the camping and food services were very affordable and within budget.

Ms. Hang advised that if you want to experience camping in Mui Treo, you do not need to carry heavy luggage, because this place has full services. After exploring Mui Treo, you can also visit some nearby places to check-in such as Cua Tung beach, Vinh Moc tunnel, Mui Lay lighthouse, etc.

"After camping, remember to clean up the area to preserve the beauty of this place," Ms. Hang advised.
