As the new school year approaches, in order to help families prepare nutritious meals for their children to be full of energy for the first day of school, the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Trading Cooperatives (Saigon Co.op) announced that the Co.opmart and Co.opXtra supermarket chains nationwide will simultaneously launch a special promotion program. Accordingly, premium fresh oranges imported directly from Australia will be discounted by more than 30%, to VND81,900/kg.

"More than 25 tons of oranges were harvested from famous orange orchards in the land of kangaroos, stretching from Riverina (New South Wales), Riverland (South Australia) to Murray Valley (Northwest Victoria - Southwest New South Wales).

Each orange meets the premium Class 1 standard, Brix 12.7, belongs to the Premium group, with a sweet, juicy taste and rich in vitamin C," shared a representative of Saigon Co.op.

According to a representative of Saigon Co.op, all oranges are harvested in the garden, preserved and transported through a strict process, maintaining an ideal temperature of 1-2°C in a refrigerated container. When placed on the shelves of the Co.opmart and Co.opXtra systems, each orange retains its fresh, juicy taste, as if it had just fallen from the branch, carrying the scent of the Kangaroo country's sunshine.

Dai Saigon Co.op said that directly importing oranges not only shortens the distance from the garden to the dining table but also demonstrates Saigon Co.op's commitment to bringing consumers safe imported fruit products of international quality, contributing to diversifying fresh products on shelves.

With preferential prices and superior quality, Saigon Co.op hopes that premium fresh Australian oranges will become a reliable nutritional choice, helping children strengthen their resistance and get ready for the upcoming school year.
