The first opponent of the Vietnamese women's team in this training trip is the Aichi Toho University Women's Club. Despite playing in cold weather, coach Mai Duc Chung's students still easily dominated the game and created many opportunities right from the start.
However, it was not until the second half, after making some personnel changes, that the Vietnamese women's team was able to break the deadlock. In the 53rd minute, Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy opened the scoring with a decisive shot.
In the 56th minute, Bich Thuy doubled the gap, before Thai Thi Thao scored the winning goal 3-0 for the Vietnamese women's team in the 69th minute.
This victory is a favorable start for the Vietnamese women's team during their training period in Japan.
Before returning home, coach Mai Duc Chung's students will play two more matches so that the coaching staff can check their performance before the 33rd SEA Games.
The Vietnamese women's team's training trip to Japan will take place from November 21 to November 30. From Ho Chi Minh City, the team will leave for Thailand on December 2 to attend the congress.
